Tips to drink water during the colder months

We all know how important it is to drink water for fat loss. However, you find it difficult through the winter as you are feeling cold most of the time. So how can you keep water levels up?

We would always recommend to consume a minimum of 2 litres of water a day. The easiest way to know you have done this is to purchase 2litres water bottles, making sure you finish it before the day is finished. It will be much easier to finish the bottle if you DON’T chill it and keep water at room temperature.

But water is boring? I don’t like the taste of water? Well first of all you need to stop using that as an excuse as it isn’t one. What you can do is add lemons, limes, berries to your bottle and the water will taste fruity. Second to that you can add sugar free cordials but not something you should rely on and should stick to natural sweeteners.

Don’t forget that herbal teas such as green tea, peppermint teas that have additional benefits other than rehydrating your body. Coffees can also contribute to your overall daily water in take, its up to you whether you prefer caffeinated or decaf. A dash of milk is fine but keep sugar away from drinks.
