Drank too much alcohol or had a food binge this weekend?
Fear not, it won’t have done as much damage as you think!
Yes, you may have weighed yourself and the scales will have risen a few pounds – this will be from water retention due to the poor food and mostly likely high carbs meals.
This weight will disappear over the next couple of days if you go back to your healthy food choices and regular training sessions/workouts.
If this happens on a regular occurrence i.e. ever weekend– you have got to ask yourself this
Do you actually like the way you eat during the week?
If you are too restrictive all week – you will most likely binge at weekends
If you suffer with your diet all week – you will most likely binge at weekends
If you stick to just 3 or 4 food choices all week – you will most likely binge at weekends
If you hate the food you consume in the week – you will most likely binge at weekends
You don’t have to starve, restrict and hate your diet to make fat loss progress.
All you need is a slight calorie deficit and 3 or 4 regular training sessions.
Your diet should be built around protein, lots of vegetables and carbohydrates based on if you have trained or not. An occasion treat can be enjoyed as well
Choose the foods you enjoy to eat and enjoy the process. This will stop the weekly binge and result in quicker results.
