If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got.
It’s an old cliché but ever so true in life and particularly true when trying to get a lean, slim athletic body shape.
To get your dream house you make small savings each month.
To learn a language, you do small 20-30 minutes bit-size learning chunks each day.
To progress the career ladder, you do your job correctly over and over again and aim to make small improvements each week.
To get the body shape you want, it requires this same long-term view, and not trying to find the quickest way to get there.
Small successful changes will get you the body shape you want but more importantly keep you there!
This week, make it a successful week by making small and realistic changes to get the ball rolling.
Start to begin developing long term habits that create a body transformation.
It doesn’t have to be huge changes, for example it could be a simple as;
- one extra workout this week,
- try to walk for 15-30 minutes each day,
- one extra meal to have vegetables included.
You only need small changes to create that body shape you train so hard for.
Your task this week is to make 1 or 2 positive healthy actions a reoccurring habit – and then see the positive rewards a few months down the line.
Have an optimistic week & make a couple of small healthy changes.
