Ready, Aim, Fire

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a brilliant week or so off, eating & drinking too much.

It has been a bit of a sh*tter last year.

So, we all deserved a bit of time off stuffing our faces with loved ones.

Recharging our batteries for 2021.

My guess now that Christmas is over, is that you have an eye on 2021.

In particular a health, fitness & body shape goal.

We usually make them now as we are feeling a little groggy and podgy.

Your weight may have jumped a little, but most of it is food (glycogen) and water weight.

Yes, some of its body fat but not all.

It will soon come off if we get back to it.

I can presume that your 2021 goals our about losing a bit of body fat, getting fitter & stronger.

If like most people, you’ll be reading inspiration posts, looking at success stories and before and after pictures (like THQ’s), or researching for the best/fastest way to get in shape.

Want some advice from someone inside the health and fitness industry?

You can sack off all the time wasted researching and looking for answers.

Because the people who succeed in dropping body fat, getting fitter & stronger are those who just get started.

They embrace a Ready, Aim, Fire approach.

What does that even mean.

They just get to work.

But that’s not everyone.

Some get ready to drop body fat, get fit and stronger, then spend an age aiming, and then, maybe, if they still have the will power, they fire!

Is this you?

Do you spend all Christmas thinking about starting new year well?

Yet end up kicking your heels and procrastinating in January.

Waiting for the best time to start?

Today will always be the best time to start.

It’s the exact approach many THQ members are taking now.

They want to lose those extra few pounds gained last year.

They are doing the following rules on a consistent basis.

  • Eating 300-500 less calories than maintenance by following the THQ meal planner or tracking calories.
  • Consuming healthy foods 80-90% of the time.
  • Resistance training 3 times a week
  • Trying to get outside and go for regular walks
  • Sleeping 7-9 hours a night
  • Drinking 2-3 litres of water.

Honestly, it can be that simple.

It’s not easy though, because you need to do it every day for at least 4-6 weeks to see results.

But if you do, it will be so rewarding.

We all have a place to start from.

The main message is to just start.

Ready, Aim & Fire!

Let’s make your 2021 way better than last year.

Ryan
