Be a bit more boring

As humans, we tend to get easily distracted.

The shiny paper syndrome tends to get the best of us.

That new diet you see online.

The new exercise class your friend is doing.

The fantastic looking fat burning supplement on Instagram.

And I get it, we all want results.

And we wanted them yesterday.

But the jumping from pillar to post is what is slowing you down.

The answer you were looking for, was that you needed to be a bit more boring.

Because boring builds a body that is toned, defined, fit, strong & healthy.

But more importantly – happier!

Be boring at consistently getting in the gym or completing a home workout at least 3 times a week.

Be boring at sticking to just 4-5 high protein meals.

Be boring at going to bed early to get a good 7-9 hours of sleep.

Be boring at drinking 2-3 litres of water a day.

Get good at the boring stuff, and you’ll actually become a fun person.

Weirdly, life is way more enjoyable the more boring you become.

You’ll have more energy.

You’ll look and feel great.

You’ll be a bit fitter, stronger and healthier.

If you are always trying to overcomplicate everything.

And adding new things to your routine because you aren’t seeing results.

You’ll never reach that summer body you want so much.

If you achieve your boring goals every day…

…you won’t ever need to worry about “trying to get in shape” again.

Because you’ll have achieved it already.

By being good at the boringly small consistent daily actions.

It’s not forever though.

You’ll be able to maintain this better.

As you’ll find the once boring actions, are now automatic.

Not even realising that you are completing these effective small actions.

This is why you need to be a bit more boring.

It’s the new being the “life of the party” person.
