Dave went from being wary of gyms to absolutely loving them!

Dave wasn’t too keen on going into a gym, he would go as far as saying he had a phobia of them.

Yet after just a few months, THQ had completely flipped Dave’s attitude of gyms

To a point where he couldn’t wait to get back in for another gym session.

He had heard the life changing story’s that THQ were producing, first hand, his wife joined prior to him and gave him the nudge.

He was aware that the THQ program required dedication and discipline but he yearned for results.

Dave wasn’t particularly happy with his appearance, strength or fitness, and decided that he would just follow the program and see what happened.

Within a few weeks, he was feeling leaner, fitter and stronger – he was lifting weights he thought would no longer be possible. And at the same time, HAVING SO MUCH FUN.

This made him do a 12 week photo shoot alongside other THQ members, with the aim to really see what he could achieve!

Why did you first start at THQ?

Like many people the older I got the more difficult I found it to keep fit and not be overweight, having tried to increase exercise and control food and drink, this just led to my weight see sawing and muscle loss.

 Some friends of mine had joined in January 2019 and their results were great, then my wife joined and she also was so enthusiastic, I took the plunge to see what the excitement was about, I have never looked back.

What made you start the 12 week shoot?

Having done the 6 week meltdown, I was very impressed with the impact this had on my body shape. I also had spoken to a lot of members about the 12 week shoot, all of them encouraged me to participate. Everyone who had done it was enthusiastic and ready to do another, fuelled by the success of my first 6 weeks I was convinced I could only improve further by this experience.

Have you achieved your body shape goal? What exactly have you achieved?

No not yet, I still want to get more definition, especially around my abs and arms, however I am very happy with the progress I have made. To think such a short period of time could have such an impact on me physically and mentally with regard to a can do attitude.

How do you feel about your achievement?

I feel more confident, and stronger in every aspect physically and mentally. A real sense of personal achievement which has also stretched my goals for the future with regard to what I could achieve.

What have you most enjoyed about at THQ?

The people, trainers and members, a real community and support. Its hard work undoubtedly during the sessions, but with a bit of humour, encouragement and occasional pushing it becomes a very addictive atmosphere where common goals and workout experiences are shared with great guidance and a bit of fun.

What would you say to anyone thinking about starting at THQ?

Don’t think just do it, I only wish I had done this years ago. Having had a real phobia of gyms, THQ dispelled them all with its unique model where the only competition is with yourself and your own personal goals but with a massive amount of support from the trainers and other members.
