THQ Success Story : Mark Stead

Mark blasted away 29lbs in 12 weeks.

Mark found going to the gym a bit of chore, often dreading going in and found getting motivated was tough.

This was mainly down to not seeing results – all the effort he was putting in to see very little body shape changes.

He has tried different gyms to see if that would help, he has tried following programs, attempted a few classes but still never saw results.

This all changed when he started at THQ.

He first started with the 6 week meltdown program, on this he trained 3 times a week for 45 minutes. Mark was also given a meal planner and cook books to make his nutrition easy to follow but tasty at the same time.

He loved the 6 week meltdown so much, that he decided to enrol onto the next available shoot.

On the shoot, Mark trained the same way as he did on the 6 week meltdown, and ate the same foods that we suggested would help him reach his goal. The only difference is that we showed mark how to track his calories and macronutrients.

This turbo charged his results, he was 218lbs at the start of his shoot and then 189lbs on shoot day 12 weeks later. That’s an incredible 29 pounds lost in 12 weeks.

He revealed a fitter, stronger and leaner body shape, hear what he thought of his transformation……

Why did you first start at THQ?
My girlfriend suggested I try the 6 week blast. I was a little reserved at first thinking it would be circuit training.
What made you start the 12 week shoot?
I did the 6 weeks and saw results straight away. And the shoot photos help inspire me to getting a better body shape.
Have you achieved your body shape goal? What exactly have you achieved?
I can honestly say I gave it my best shot, I stuck to the guidance given and got some good results. I think I learnt a lot about me and food while on the shoot.
How do you feel about your achievement?
I am really happy with the end result quite shocked how much I did change.
It’s just the start for me I want to see if I can maintain a decent body shape now. What have you most enjoyed about at THQ?
I really like the sessions it’s a great atmosphere.
What would you say to anyone thinking about starting at THQ?

I have tried a lot of different types of exercise, open gyms etc and to be honest I struggle to motivate myself. THQ the training is structured for you for all abilities so fits every level.
I didn’t think it would be hard enough when I first started .. I was wrong the sessions can be very testing.
The photos don’t lie and when you join they don’t give out magic beans that transform you! The sessions are focused the trainers are focused and professional, the members are really helpful and supportive of new starters.
The nutrition advice is so straightforward and simple it almost makes you think .. is that it? But it works.
Carl and Ryan’s videos and emails are made in a way that you can relate to them. I think if you follow the advice and guidance anyone can get great results if you put the effort in.
Be consistent
Don’t give up
