Lorna drops 30lbs to get this amazing body shape
Lorna was at her heaviest weight before joining THQ, and was carrying around one too many pounds.
This made her feel a little down & unhappy about how she looked and felt about herself.
Lorna knew that she had to do something about it and join a gym, but she didn’t want to start a gym membership and not use it!
So, she looked at THQ and saw the results we were putting out. Yes, it was a little more expensive than other gyms, but she thought it would make her attend more.
Lorna really wanted to lose the extra fluff and get some definition back, but wasn’t quite sure if it would work for her?
After coming to a find out more consultation, heard what support and service she would get & watched a session in action – she knew this was the place for her. She jumped on the next 6 Week Meltdown intake….
“My main concerns were joining another gym and not being committed enough to get the most out of my membership. I soon realised that the sessions were easy to squeeze into my week and they became my new routine”
She had weight trained before but not really seen much results.
We immediately changed that, adding a little more intensity to her sessions whilst consistently working on good form.
This close work can be achieved through our small group sessions of no larger than 6 members at one time, which means we can work very meticulously with members in sessions.
Alongside training 3 times a week for 45 minutes, we also worked on her nutrition.
She followed a meal planner that helped Lorna structure her day. She got to eat 3 meals a day and snack! Plus, we told her not to ban any foods. Meaning she got to keep the odd treat or cheat meal in.
Lifting weights means you burn through way more energy (calories), so having regular meals and snacks provided Lorna the energy to training AND drop body fat, without ever feeling hungry.
Lorna loved that she was feeling good about herself and now enjoyed coming into the gym.
“The atmosphere is great and the classes are well planned. I looked forward to going at the end of a busy day in the office. I find it clears my mind.”
At the end of the 6 week meltdown, Lorna wanted to continue this easy to follow training & nutrition routine. As she was seeing the pounds and inches fall away but more importantly, felt re-energised and happy again.
She continued this for a few months, and then decided that she would really like to see how lean she could get.
As part of membership, members get the chance to jump on a 12 week shoot.
An advanced version of the 6 week meltdown – 12 weeks to really knuckle down and be disciplined with themselves.
The only difference on the 12 week shoot is that Lorna would have to track her calories, we showed her how simple it is.
She started on three 45 minutes train sessions a week, which went up to 4, then 5 sessions a week just before her shoot.
Lorna found this easy to commit to, even though her THQ gym closed for the 2021 lockdown…
“I enjoy the variety of the sessions and the coaches are all amazing. It’s more than just a gym, it’s a great community. Even when lockdown happened THQ responded quickly and reassured everyone. Training continued even in the most difficult of situations. It just goes to show how committed the coaches and members are.”
Lorna was disciplined, committed and organised with her food and training. She simply trusted the process and followed the plan, and the results were outstanding.
She lost 30lbs since starting at THQ, to be the leanest she has been in years, but more importantly, she knows she will now maintain it with the knowledge she has learnt….
“The process has become my daily routine now. I have completely changed my food habits and continued to eat well. I still track my calories and feel so much healthier & stronger”
