Mark started resistance training and eating better to change his body shape
Mark would be the first to admit that he had got a bit out of shape. Year on year he was gaining weight & inches, and his body shape wasn’t what he wanted it to be.
And worse still, he was feeling sluggish and tired most of the time.
This is not how he wanted to be feeling as he runs his own business. He needed to be alert, energised and focused all of the time.
He would try eating better and being active, but he just wouldn’t see results.
He knew that if he was ever going to see results, he would need the help of a personal trainer.
Mark had seen some of the results we had put on social media, and decided to book a no commitment consultation to see if we could help him
We knew we could get Mark results and showed him how sessions worked, and what we would do to tailor his nutrition so that he would finally see changes.
Mark started with us and began with the 6 Week Meltdown. Anyone who joins THQ starts with this program, it works on all the basics of training, nutrition and recovery.
It makes sure you know what you should be doing, but more importantly, know why. When you fully understand the process, it makes getting into shape so much easier.
He trained 3 times a week for 45 minutes and followed the successful THQ meal planner. And within just a few short weeks, he was starting to see a difference.
He was feeling stronger and fitter in sessions, plus he now started to notice he had more energy, feeling less sluggish but now livelier!
Loving this feeling, he continued training hard and following his meal planner, and then shortly after, the inches and pounds started to fall off as well.
He had finally found a gym and nutrition routine that worked for him.
He never felt hungry & had loads of energy, Mark didn’t want to stop this momentum, so he continued onto our monthly rolling membership. He then fancied taking it up another level and jumped onto our next available 12 week shoot.
This was in January of 2021, as we all know, we had a long 4 month gym lockout ahead.
We reassured Mark that we had him sorted, we would still follow the shoots nutritional strategies of tracking calories, but we modified the training to work from home. Still using resistant training, we started with 3 training sessions a week and slowly built that up to 5 sessions a week just before his shoot.
Whilst he was doing his shoot, he still ran his business – yet never missed a session. Which Mark proves that even if you don’t have a lot of time, you can still get in shape.
He was disciplined, organised and worked hard, and the results were incredible.
He built muscle and burnt off a lot of body fat, to reveal a stronger, fitter and better-looking body shape.
