15lbs Lost, Strength Gained: Sam's Transformation HQ Success!

Before joining Transformation HQ, Sam faced a significant challenge: a wrist injury from a year ago that had left her arm weaker than before.

“I wanted to gain my strength back and get stronger.”

Despite being naturally lean, she was determined to sculpt her body and improve her overall fitness.

However, the weight training areas of gyms were daunting, and she often avoided them, trying to figure out what to do.

That all changed when Sam joined Transformation HQ.

Sam started with the 6-Week Meltdown, which focuses on the foundations of weight training and involves three 45-minute sessions a week.

“I had never done weight training before and would avoid those areas of the gym out of fear of not knowing what to do.”

But Transformation HQ treats you a little differently from other gyms.

We teach you how to train correctly, as weight lifting is a skill that needs to be learnt.

Sam always had a trainer with her, so she was never left alone to figure it out.

Not only did we take hold of Sam’s training, but she was also supported with her nutrition.

Following a simple meal planner, Sam learned to eat three meals daily and even enjoy snacks.

This structured plan was pivotal in her transformation.

“I realised that although I was eating healthy to an extent, there was a lot more room to improve my diet. So I feel healthier for eating better, stronger for training, and happier in myself because of this.”

Her progress strength log became a source of motivation, showing substantial improvements in her strength.

“Going from 5kg weights for dumbbell press to using 12.5kg within 12 weeks was incredible!”

After completing the 6-week Meltdown, Sam auto-enrolled in the monthly rolling membership, which included the option to participate in a 12-week photoshoot program.

During this phase, her training sessions increased from three to four times a week and then to five times a week just before the shoot.

She was shown how to track calories and macronutrients to turbocharge weight loss.

This approach really helped her see results rather quickly.

One of Sam’s most memorable moments was seeing her physical transformation reflected in her measurements.

“I have lost 2 inches from my waist and lost 7kg (about 15lbs) overall! It amazed me how quickly that all happened just from a few little tweaks.”

For those considering their own fitness journey, Sam offers some top tips and insights:

“Keep going. Focus on that goal. I didn’t want to disappoint myself, and I told myself it’s only for a short period of time and then the results will really pay off.”

She emphasises the influence of willpower, sharing how the compliments from colleagues about avoiding chocolates and cake at work kept her motivated.

Sam encourages anyone hesitating to take the plunge.

“What’s stopping you from being a better version of yourself? You can learn a lot from this journey about diet and exercise but also about yourself.”
