45lbs Down… Cardio Lied To Him
Before Transformation HQ, Jamie could run for miles.
He was endurance contest training.
Cardio wasn’t the issue.
Effort wasn’t the issue.
But his body didn’t reflect the work he was putting in.
“I wasn’t a fan of certain areas of fat I had. I wanted to tone up my chest and stomach. My fitness was ok because I was marathon training but my body shape wasn’t how I wanted it to be.”
That’s the frustrating bit.
You’re doing something hard.
You’re disciplined.
You’re sweating.
Yet your chest still feels soft.
Your stomach still doesn’t look how you want it to look.
You feel fit, but you don’t feel sharp.
Running kept Jamie active.
It didn’t reshape him.
And like a lot of men, the traditional gym wasn’t the answer either.
“I hate the stereotypical gym atmosphere and the ego lifting culture of gyms so it was always something I avoided.”
So he stayed in his lane.
Cardio.
Solo sessions.
No structure around resistance training.
No clear calorie target.
No accountability.
Just hoping more miles would equal a better physique.
They didn’t.
In June 2025, he joined the 6 Week Meltdown intake at Transformation HQ.
That’s where things changed.
The 6 Week Meltdown is simple on purpose.
Three structured small group strength sessions each week.
Clear, easy-to-follow nutritional guidance.
Proper resistance training.
No ego.
No random workouts.
No guessing.
You start with the six weeks.
Most love the results, and like Jamie, you stay and keep building.
For Jamie, the missing piece was strength training.
He didn’t need to run more.

He needed his chest and shoulders trained with intent.
He needed progressive overload.
He needed a reason for his body to hold muscle while fat came down.

He followed the plan.

Within the first phase, his waist started coming down.

By the time he had completed the Meltdown and continued on the rolling membership, he had built consistency.
When he felt ready, he enrolled onto the 12 Week Shoot, which is included in the monthly membership.
The Shoot is more precise.
More dialled in.
Designed to take you from “improving” to “properly lean.”
He completed his Shoot by the beginning of December 2025.





The numbers speak for themselves.
“I am 5 inches down on my waist. Since joining Transformation HQ, I am around 45lbs down, and since starting the Shoot, I am 25lbs down.”
Look at the photos.
On the left, he looks like a bloke who trains but carries fat through the chest and midsection.
On the right, he looks strong.
Defined.
Tight through the waist.
Shoulders and arms developed.
Confident.
That doesn’t come from random gym classes where you’re one of twenty and nobody knows your name.
It doesn’t come from paying for three personal training sessions a week that cost more but leave you alone the other four days with no system.
It comes from structure, accountability, and proper resistance training layered on top of controlled nutrition.
The mental shift was just as big.
“I am so much more confident than I was previously. I love going to the gym now and my diet just became second nature. Finding it hard now to come out and increase my calories because I’m so used to the diet.”
Read that again.
He went from avoiding gym culture to loving training.
From guessing his food to it becoming second nature.
From marathon miles with no visible change, to five inches off his waist and a physique he’s proud of.
And he’s honest about the reality and gives these tips.
“Training may feel difficult on lower calories but just take it easy when your body isn’t feeling it. You may feel one day you can lift more and the next you aren’t as strong. It is all part of the journey.”

“Ask as many questions as you need. Make sure you understand why you’re doing things, what it leads to and what you will achieve by doing what you’re doing, it’ll motivate you and fill you with confidence knowing why you’re doing it, it’ll drive you to continue.”

“Stick to the plan. The calories may feel difficult at first but it gets a lot easier.”
That’s not hype.
That’s process.

He started in June.
By December, he had transformed his body.
