Many of us follow a plan when trying to get in or maintain shape. We record food diaries, track calories on my fitness pal etc but not many of us record how certain foods make us feel and if you want to stick to a diet long term you need to feel bloody fantastic day in day out!
Here’s a example:
Track a weeks breakfast. Write down how hungry you were after, how did they make you feel, energetic, tired, productive or spend time procrastinating.
Monday – protein and carbohydrates
Tuesday – fats and protein
Wednesday- just protein
Thursday- just carbohydrates
Friday- protein & fats
Then look back on the week and see what approach made you feel the best.
